Over 7,000 Christians Slaughtered in Nigeria in 2025
Dear Friends, This is an important episode. Please take a few minutes and listen all the way through. Jesus told us that since the world hated Him, it will hate us too. In the United States, we have been isolated from much of the persecution around the world. But it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be moved by and do something about the persecution in other countries. It also doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t be diligent to stand up for our freedoms and rights in our own country.
According to Open Doors, 1 in 7 Christians are persecuted around the world. ! in every 5 are persecuted in Africa and 2 in every 5 are persecuted in Asia. Our brothers and sisters in Christ are being slaughtered and face kidnapping, torture, imprisonment and fines in Nigeria, the Congo, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, India, China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and more.
We can’t just do nothing and we certainly can’t scroll past the social media posts without stopping to pray and passing it on to make others aware.
